I know you can't actually run SLI in Mac os, but I just bought a second GTX 260 (for windows) and I'm having all kinds of problems with installing this setup. I had/have my system running fine with a single 260. I got strings for each card and the only difference for each is the numbers highlighted in bold below.

cd0300000100000001000000c10300001500000002010c00d041030a01000000010106000003

I've tried start up with peg1 and peg 2, and the only thing that seems to get me to installation and booting is if I choose Peg2 (DVI hooked up to bottom PCIe card), then after verbose mode the screen goes blank and I have to move my connector to the top card to get it working?

Its crazy because it was fine with a 260 and a 9500gt, but not this setup :(
Anyway, just wondering if anyone's running two of the same card :)

Yeah I've read that, but can we run leopard on our P55's??
I ask this because it says you can't do it from within snow.

Thanks! Reinstalling, wish me luck :p

Edit: Btw, does modifying my DSDT for my cards mean I can skip putting the string(s) in my Boot.plist???

I just glanced at the article, but it seemed like a combination of the 2 would be the solution. Good luck!

You know I read it like 20 times, and just realized the top part is for your plist and the bottom part is for your DSDT. lol Thanks again Tony :)

Well none of that worked, and I forgot it didn't even work when I had my 9500gt in the second slot. it keeps posting every second PCIE slot card with the wrong info. PciRoot(0x1)/Pci(0x5,0x0) <~~~ That's what you get no matter whats in the second slot, and it shows 4096 memory regardless of whats in there. I'm going to try and install it with a single GPU, then update to 10.6.2 and throw it in and see what happens lol. I think that's what I did for the 9500 to be in the 2nd slot.

OMG I did it! I took Winston's DSDT.dsl from http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index. ... try1382548
edited everything for a GTX 260, changed vram to 38 (896), duplicated what Winston had (with my 260), then followed Kdawg's DSDT Peg edit's on this page http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index. ... 3349&st=20

Wow I'm SO happy!

Tony, you may want to move this to post installation...

As far as installation I used the following for my boot CD rather than what you had and I also have it in my extra folder's com.apple.Boot.plist .
<key>Kernel Flags</key>
<String>GraphicsEnabler=Yes</string>

Thanks for finding that thread! :D

Great work Jocelyn84- I'm planning on finishing my DSDT Graphics editing guide this week! :)
