Anyone is running GA-Z87MX-D3H with GTX 770 ??

Is anyone using this combo ? Z87mx-d3h with GTX 770 (either 2gb or 4gb) ?

Because today I installed a new GTX 770 4gb to my mobo, if in Bios i let PCI Auto or PCI 3.0 it starts to freeze the desktop, however the mouse can move, and i can access the whole system from another device on my network, so CPU is not frozen, only the GPU is. In order to have it stable I need to choose PCI 2.0 on Bios.

This happen on OS X and Windows 7 so this is a hardware problem.

Anyone have the same problem ?

No problems
Think you have a hardware problem on your graphics cards.
Did you try with other one ?

Yeah previously I had GTS 250, Yours is running on PCI 2.0 or PCI 3.0 and is an OC version?

Because I found something interesting on Bios where it says regarding PCIe configuration.

Auto = System will detect the appropriate PCIe Gen according to installed graphics card
Note PCIe Gen.3 will offer optimal bandwidth when paired with a compatible Gen.3 graphic card.
However Gen2. may be preferable in certain OC Configurations.

So according to that note on Bios. I'm thinking that because this video card is factory overclocked, the motherboard is having a hard time dealing with it when it's setup as PCI 3.0.

Does this make sense?
