Requirements:
- Multibeast 2.5.1 viewtopic.php?f=3&t=8155
- Device ID of 57XX or 58XX
- Snow Leopard Graphics update (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4286) or 10.6.5 combo update (http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1326)
- (Optional) Kext Utility (see Multibeast > Advance > OSx86 Software > Kext Utility)

Determine your graphics card Device ID:
- From Windows Device Manager, look for the card's VEN and DEV ID's. You'll see something like PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_6898. This string means that the card's VEN ID is 1002 and DEV 6898.
- The Device ID is in the format of 0x<DEV><VEN>. In this example, the card's Device ID is 0x68981002

Preparation:
- Install the Snow Leopard graphics update or 10.6.5 combo update. These update contains the ATI5000Controller.kext and ATIRadeonX3000.kext.
- Make an original copy of /System/Library/Extensions/ATI5000Controller.kext and /System/Library/Extension/ATIRadeonX3000.kext (in case you screw up).
- Edit /System/Library/Extensions/ATI5000Controller.kext/Contents/Info.plist and add your Device ID. Look for "<string>0x68981002 0x68991002 0x68E01002 0x68E11002 0x68D81002 0x68C01002 0x68C11002 0x68D91002 0x68B81002 0x68B01002 0x68B11002 0x68A01002 0x68A11002 </string>" and insert your Device ID. My card's ID was already included, so you may not need to do anything.
- Also edit /System/Library/Extension/ATIRadeonX3000.kext/Contents/Info.plist to add your device id.
- (Alternatively) You can also edit the copies of ATI5000Controller.kext and ATIRadeonX3000.kext then install them with Kext Utility.
- Remove any graphics enabler kext, such as ATY_init or NVEnabler

Multibeast 2.5.1
- Systems Utilities - Rebuild Caches/Repair Permissions check both
- Advance Options
-- Chameleon - Chameleon 2.0 RC5 - ATI Experimental
-- com.apple.boot.plist - 64-bit Apple Boot Screen

*Edit: add device id to ATIRadeonX3000.kext

Hi Vindoan, i would like to know if this method will work with a xfx ati radeon hd 5750 ???

Gave this a try and the system installed properly. Get the boot screen then it changes resolution and my monitor goes black. Could it be because I'm using the HDMI port?

I had similar problems when I tried to get my ATI Radeon HD5770 working.

My screen went black when I tried to boot with the experimental ATI chameleon, but after 3 days of reinstalling and trying every possible thing, I simply changed my vga cable to a dvi, and voila. Works OOB.
