i was having the exact same problem and this worked for me! thanks. was pulling my hair out...geez.
one thing though....my volume control is still greyed but if i go into sound in system preferences i can set the volume and hear the sounds...is this normal? or is there something amiss still?
i don't still need to install voodoohda do I?
