Somewhat odd issue with an EVGA 660 ti. Installed it about 3 weeks ago and has been rock solid. Yesterday afternoon, I hear a loud *POP*, some snap crackles and walk into my computer room to see smoke coming out of my case. Pulled the cables, took the system outside and tried to see what happened. I've never had a failure of this sort before. System has a Corsair 650hx and GA-Z77-DS3H. Power supply seems fine, but the motherboard is toast. Anyone have any thoughts where the failure lies? And somewhat more of a hack/custom built PC question... one something like this happens, how do you go about trying to get components replaced? I've read some complaints about each respective manufacture blaming other component failures and not honoring warranties. RMA and pray?
