Any cards work HDMI audio out of the box?

Hi everyone,

As the title suggests - I'm wondering if there are any Graphics cards available that simply work %100 out of the box. I currently have onboard HD 4000 video with my i3 Ivy Bridge, but I'm having a hard time following th tutorial on editing DSDT's as I'm completely new to Mac.

No. Many graphics cards make HDMI audio out of the box in OS X but only after the dsdt is edited for HDMI audio.

Thank for your reply. Are there any pre-edited DSDT's for Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H / i3 Ivy Bridge HD 4000 combo? I'm doing a lot of searching on these forums and have found many users sharing theirs for their individual set ups.
