  • This is a difficult MoBo (Intel X79 board)to install macOSsierra successfully. Please search the Forum for a"Successful macOSSierra on Asus rampage IV" before spending a lot of time on 'trial & error' troubleshoot. It is hard to find any successful Installation of macOS Sierra on Intel X79 Motherboard with details of how it was done; I haven't seen one in this Forum. I could have missed.
  • Similarly search for any successful use of nVidia GTX 670 in macOSSierra.; NOT a good choice for easy installation in macOS Sierra using any MoBo.
  • Seek specific DSDT/SSDT files needed for installing Sierra in your MoBo or exact detailed steps to create them yourself; otherwise you cannot complete the installation with the USB installer you've created with all accepted published methods.
  • Post your Guide if you finally succeed , it may be useful to others like you.:)

that sounds great... and I was thinking well I have a good system so it must be no problem.. and yes I got a difficult case :p great..

Well I Will try to search to a solution and if I have one, I will post it here but I think there is a small chance because I'm not that kind of a computer specialists..
But thanks for replying man

@brinky1990, please update your profile (personal details) with your build (Motherboard, CPU and Graphics Card).
The Rules said:
Profiles need to contain at least your primary system to assist others with helping you.

well I tried something and it workes :) its running.. but not finished jet.
I used this step by step guide :
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...-extreme-32gb-ram-gtx-770-4gb-success.130386/

But i run the intel 3820 so i have to do something with a SSDT ??? can somebody help me how to do that because I got
stuck at this part for now.

Thanks :)
Since the SSDT creation has to be specific for your Hardware (in this case your Intel CPU) it can only be generated in your System.

This is why I'd indicated X79 is a tough System to install macOSSierra.

The attached SSDT-9aml cannot be used in your system because that system has an Intel i7-4930 and you have Intel i7-3820.

  • In the Downloaded X79 zipped and extracted file, did you not find "Apps 4 Applications Folder"?
  • Inside "Apps 4 Applications Folder" you should find "RunAppleIntelInfo.app
  • You need to run that app to generate your own SSDT.
  • This generated SSDT - #. aml has to be then pasted in your Sierra USB Installer's /EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/Patched folder.
  • To do that you have to first mount the EFI partition of that Sierra USB disk on the desktop using EFI Mounter V3 and then navigating from the EFI partition placed on the desktop through EFI>CLOVER>ACPI>Patched (the destination folder to paste).
Another guide that can clear up some doubts will be: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/quick-guide-to-generate-a-ssdt-for-cpu-power-management.177456/

Thanks for replying :)
Well I found the map and app and also tried but I Think it not worked or something, I will try it tonight and I will post some screenshots so that you can see what I'm doing and if that is correct or not.

well I followed the guide from the link what you send me in your previous reply, and I got stuck at step 4.
After typing in : sudo~/ssdtPRGen.sh he shows an error : board-id [mac-F60DEB81FF30ACF6] not supported by Sandy bridge - check SMBIOS data / use the -c option.

So... what to do now? 20170318_122114.jpg

another question, I want to make a dualboot system so that I also can use my windows from the other SSD, what do I have to do after I fully configurated my MAC os, do i have to use multibeast for that ?
