This is my first time setting up a Hackintosh. I am using a Dell Optiplex SFF desktop. It has an i5 and I have a PCIE AMD graphics card. Everything is ok except the video. It shows as only 7mb. I used clover to inject ATI and I have tried a ton of things but no luck.
The device ID is 6611.
The card shows in "About this Mac" as a Radeon R7 250.
I will attach screen shots. I also am not having any luck with the Intel graphics either. I currently have the BIOS set to the Radeon only.
Also, I am not having any luck uploading the screen shots.
I am using High Sierra. I am using iMac 12.2 as the device id. It had been set to a MBA for some reason so I changed that.
Well, it looks like the screen shots did upload after all.
I am also open to purchasing a video card if that is what I need to do. I don't want to spend a lot (under $100) but I also don't do anything intensive. I have been getting by just fine with a 2011 Mac mini. My whole reason for trying this is that There isn't a decent upgrade from the 2011-2012 Mac mini models.
