Alternate Mobo for Tonymac Budget Power Build 3?

I am about to buy the selected components for the Budget Power build 3 listed here.

I would like to have a board with firewire built in to run my drives and audio devices.
Can I substitute a board such as the GA-H55-USB3 Motherboard without any problems?
Or a different one perhaps?

Firewire for my X58A-UD3R worked out of the box - the way to check is to go to the Gigabyte website and look up the Firewire chipset. I.e. mine is "T.I. TSB43AB23 chip "

The texas instruments / TI chips work very well in hacks !
