I need to install Windows 10 to update some motherboard stuff - and I don't plan to use this machine for windows - so I'd consider this a very temporary install. My priority is to protect the Sierra installation I have.
I am deathly afraid that any mucking around w/ Clover and / or installing another OS will render my MacOS install dead.
1) Can I install a Windows 10 install to a USB drive? Yea, I know it won't be fast...but safety for my OSX/EFI partition is paramount.
2) Can I use the BIOS to tell the machine to boot from the USB Win 10 install, again to protect my OSX/EFI partition
Where should I start to take the above approach? I have another Windows Machine that I can build the Win 10 install on if that helps.
Thanks.
