I updated my Mavs install to Yosemite using the guide here. The install went flawless. I even got audio to work on ALC892. (I just had to change my audio out to "internal speakers")
I only have 2 well 2.5 real issues so far.
1. I cant get my computer to sleep. It goes to sleep but then starts right back up (except the monitors stay off) a tap of the spacebar wakes the monitors but then sound no longer works till i reset the computer.
Ive read that this is a common issue i even read that its an issue with Yosemite so im hoping its fixed soon.
2. Nvidia Cuda. My CUDA preferences says that there is an update for nvidia cuda but there actually is not. This pops up everytime i turn the computer on.
And 2.5 It seems that anytime i install some sort of system driver and have to reset. I have to unplug my Time Machine external HD or else i get a kernal panic. If i unplug it then restart it boots up fine. Then i re plug in the HD and restart and it starts up fine.
