Allow From Anywhere (Disable Gatekeeper checks) in macOS Sierra

Most of the apps i use are in the Mac App store anyway and if they're not i don't really bother.
Quite the opposite for me. I don't bother with apps that are not available at the developer's site.

I don't really use many apps tbh. I use Xcode mainly but i use what ever is built into the OS such as Safari, iMessage, FaceTime, mail app, iTunes i don't bother with 3rd party apps.
 
Do I need to disable gatekeeper checks if I will use MultiBeast to install bootloader, kexts, etc.?

No, its more for allowing non-apple apps to download on your system. This allows apps from outside developers to be used at your own risk.
