Alienware x51

I'm new to the whole hackintosh idea and am wondering if I could install ML onto my x51.
My specs are

• i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40GHz
• Motherboard Alienware 06G6JW
• NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660
• 8GB ram

Also, will I be able to install ML onto an external HDD instead of formatting windows?
Any help would be appreciated!

There have been a few Alienware computers done, you will need a bit of trial and error with bootflags probably. Install onto a clean HDD or SSD drive - keep windows separate (disconnect at time of installing OSX to avoid wiping it by accident)
