Hi,

I have just ordered a new desktop and i would like to dual boot it with latest Mac OS Sierra with Windows 10. I was previously using Macbook Pro Retina 15 inch Late 2015 Model. But Now i would like to build a hackintosh for my pc.

Processor:
Intel® Core™ i7-5820K Processor (6 cores at 3.8 GHz with Intel® Turbo-Boost, 15 MB)

Motherboard:

X99 Chipset

Graphics:
Asus Strix Direct CU II GTX 970, 4 GB GDDR5

RAM:
8 GB DDR4 (2 x 4 GB), 2.133 MHz, Dual-Channel

Storage:
2x 480gb Crucial SSD 6gb/s + 2 TB (7200 rpm)

If you want to run Mac OS rather than Winblows I think you should have waited on Hackintosh advice from the experts... it really matter which brand of mobo graphics card etc you get not just the chipset.

I just asked about a X99 build I want to do but I would used the 3.3Ghz chipset and overclock it to 4.7Ghz... BUT I fear I might have to hack it myself. I posted before I saw your post heres my thread no answers yet.

That system might run macOS - I don't have any personal experience with X99 builds, but others have been able to do it with some difficulty. The Intel Wifi/Bluetooth card will not work in macOS (well, maybe the Bluetooth but not the Wifi).

Based on what I've read, the Asus Strix 970 GPU should work fine.
