I'm getting to the end of my resourcefulness here trying to fix my onboard audio.
Quick background...
- I was working nicely on 10.9.2. Haven't had any issue since first building the hack last year.
- I stupidly installed the combo update to 10.9.5 maybe too hastily.
- I naively had changed my system definition to Mac Pro 6,1. I didn't realise the implications. I have since changed this back to Mac Pro 3,1.
- I've spent the last week trying to get the hack up a going again (not the Whole week
- I've now ended up on 10.10 Yosemite and 90% up and running again, but stuck with Audio. Can't get it going.
- I've run MB 6.1.0 to install the codec driver. Nothing
- I've tried the HDAEnabler and HDEFLayoutID in org.cham...
- Deleted HDAEnabler1 from S/L/E
- I've followed Toleda's instructions as far as I can understand them.
- The only fault flag I've found is in DPCIManager is not showing a Codec ID under Audio Devices.
- I reinserted kernel=mach_kernel - I'm not all too sure what this does, but I used to have it and now I follow an instruction to remove it at some point.
Any help would be great.... Maybe it's something quite simple. My CustoMac system seems to be really compatible judging by how easy it was when I first made it.
i7 4770K
GA-Z87MX-D3H board with onboard ALC892 Codec
16GB 1600mhz RAM
Integrated HD4600 GPU, no additional at this stage
I'm using the optical output only on the audio
My org.cham... is:

Thanks!
