Hello all,
I am new to this community and new to hackintoshing in general. I just built a new machine to use as a hackintosh. The machine is as below
Gigabyte H370 HD3 motherboard with ALC887 audio codec
i5 8400
1 TB SSD
16 GB RAM
On-board Intel 630 GPU for graphics
I managed to get Mojave up using the vanilla install guide and have my ethernet working as well. The issue that I am running into is getting my darn onboard audio to work.
I have followed the AppleHDA Realtek guide but still cannot get this to work. I have added the latest AppleALC.kext and Lilu.kext files into my efi/Clover/Kext/Other folder.
Devices --> Audio inject set to 7. I tried every number that was listed on the wiki. To no avail. ResetHDA is enabled. HDAs to HDEF patch is in place.
