Hello everybody,
I have an ASUS P5N-D motherboard with a Realtek ALC883 audio chip and I'm sick of using VoodooHDA since the newer versions cause kernel panics and it generally will reset my SPDIF out to 192000Hz and 32-Bit on every reboot.
I'd like to finally use vanilla audio with the normal AppleHDA method. I found a tutorial on how to patch it and everything but it doesn't seem to work.
I already have my codec dump from Ubuntu but when I try to it with verbit, it says it's incorret.
Help would be greatly appreciated, the codec dump is attached.
Thank you in advance
Tobias Timpe
