At the end I went the VoodooHDA path, works flawlessly with no customization. Fixing the pathmaps was too complicated, and I don't need sleep working.

Got Alienware 15 R3 working. Sleep/wake audio working and headphone, speakers, jack sense, and mic. See this thread https://github.com/insanelydeepak/cloverHDA-for-Mac-OS-Sierra-10.12/issues/16

In the end it required that latest FakePCIID kexts 05/27, and an adjusted path map/updated kext. Super grateful for all the help!
