ALC 892 External Mic not working.

Hello,

I bought a Plantronic Audio 300 and connected it to the Mic and Line in inputs of my board but it seems this isn't working. (I have output sound working)

Do you know what can be the problem?

What port are you plugging the mic and what selection in System Preferences/Sound?

I solved it installing again mavericks!
