I'm having trouble getting Airdrop to work between my Hackintosh OS X running El Capitan 10.11.1 and iOS.

I'm using a "Apple iMac 802.11AC BCM94360CD BT4.0 1000Mbps Wifi Card" that I'm pretty sure "should" work. I got iMessage forwarding, continuity, handoff and all that working but not Airdrop between OS X and iOS to work.

I never had it working when I had Yosemite installed and I hoped that it would magically solve it self when I upgraded to El Capitan but with no luck. I've tested on all iOS version from iOS 8.0 up until the latest iOS 9.1, I'm on the same WiFi and both have Bluetooth enabled.

Airdrop between my Hackintosh and a Macbook Pro works, Airdrop between two iOS devices works and Airdrop between a Macbook Pro and iOS device also works. But not Hackintosh to iOS device so the issue is clearly the Hackintosh.

I've checked the logs and it looks like my Hackintosh and the iOS device find each other and tries to start a bonjour service. But after the iOS device starts to advertise the Bonjour service nothing happens until I cancel the Airdrop on the Hackintosh. The same logs repeat themselves on the iOS device, so it looks like it discovers the airdrop, tries to start the server but fails without error and then it starts over and discovers it again.

Log from OS X:

Anyone have any suggestions what I could check or look for?

Two days later, after a couple of restarts and login/logout on both the iOS devices and the Hackintosh, Airdrop started to work without any additional fixes and changes.

But a bit disappointed of the range, it won't find the iOS device from 3-4 meters if it's a wall between the device and the hackintosh. But I guess that's not my Hackintosh's fault.
