Everything was peachy, I opened up my case to switch a 3gb sata cable to my boot SSD for a 6gb, using a different (3gb to 6gb) port on the MB. Now it gets stuck at the grey apple/spinning wheel freezes just before desktop loading. I tried switching back to the original cable and configuration before I messed with it, checked BIOS settings and HD load order.

Anybody have any ideas why OSX didnt like SATA cable/port switching? Thanks

getCPUIDinfo: this is an unknown CPU model 0x3a -- Power management may be incomplete or unsupported

OK, so after a verbose boot, it ends with the "getCPUIDinfo: this is an unknown CPU model 0x3a -- Power management may be incomplete or unsupported" line.

I dont have another working mac or my install OSX USB, I have plenty of Win7 machines, how would I go about fixing this?

Thanks

BTW, my build specs are on the left, still on ML <<

Is there some sort of simple USB boot image or files I can download so I can at least get in to edit the problem files?
