Hello,

I installed Mac OS X Snow Leopard to my PC. I updated to Mac OS X 10.6.8 Snow Leopard and with MultiBeast I installed Chimera, 64-bit Apple Boot Screen, and MacPro3,1 definitions. But when I restart the PC, OS X won't boot. It keeps loading on the Apple boot screen. I also tried Chameleon, but with Chameleon it also keeps loading on the Apple boot screen. When I put in my iBoot CD, Mac OS X Snow Leopard boots fine.

I tried:
GraphicsEnabler=No
PCIRootUID=1
arch=x86_64
maxmem=4096

System specs:
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600
ATI Radeon HD 5450
4 GB RAM

The same issue I had with OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion.

Can someone help me?

Thanks

First, you'll need to list all your hardware in your User profile. Should show up right below
where your avatar picture is. We need to know what specific motherboard you are using.

Also, are you just installing Snow Leopard to get to the Mac App Store and download Mavericks ?
Do you want to keep running Snow Leo longer term?

Welcome to the forum, hope we can figure this out for you.

Hello, thanks for your reply. I listed all my hardware in my user profile. The motherboard is a Foxconn LS-36. CN-OGM819-137407CF-05WS.

I want to keep running Snow Leopard long term. I will do an upgrade to Mavericks or Yosemite later.

I installed EasyBeast on Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard, and now it boots fine.

Thanks for the great tools like MultiBeast! And thanks for the replies.
