I just finished installing OSX 10.6.8 on an old pc:
MOBO Gigabyte P35DS3R, Intel core 2, 4GB, Nvidia 9600. 1 TB drive on SATA port 2
(the DVD is on Sata port 1).
after the initial installation, and upgrade of the 10.6.8 from the file I got here, I ran Multibeast 3.10.1.
I ran all the applications I found in the download????? I have no idea if it's correct or not... no instructions that I could find.
I also fous an AML file for my mobo...but have no idea how to install it.
When I reboot w/o the iboot disk, it looks as if it is booting properly (I see the grey apple) but after a moment I get a crash screen asking me in 5 languages to restart OSX.
in addition the Microphone is not working...although the sound output is fine.
any advise on how to repair these issues will be appreciated.
Thanks
Robert

boot using -x and place your DSDT.aml on desktop run multi beast :)

You probably need and old Chimera version. Use an older multibeast and install chimera and test.

How do I boot using -X you suggested?????

when you get to the chameleon boot loader, before pressing 'enter' on your Snow Leopard Drive, just type '-x' and press enter.

the way it work now is that I boot my PC with the iBoot CD in it.
than I get 2 icons - iBoot and OSX
I select OSX and after a minute or so I get the Mac OS home screen.
do you mean I just type -X and than enter on the OSX icon?
Thanks
