Hey guys, just wanted to ask if all of my computer parts work well together. This is my first build, so I am a complete novice when it comes to this. I already checked for compatibility, and everything seems to work and I just want another opinion on this before I spend most of my money for no reason :). Also it says that the motherboard is dual channel, does that mean I can throw in 4 sticks of RAM, or only 2 sticks? The computer will be for gaming and recording gameplay, as well as using Photoshop and Final Cut.

This is general computer-building advice, but if you don't immediately need the 1 TB hard drive, hold off buying a hard drive for at least a few months. Right now, flooding in Thailand has jacked up the price of hard drives to a ridiculous degree. For example, check out the price history of the $220 hard drive you linked to on Newegg. If you have an old hard drive from a different computer lying around, use that instead.

Graphics card compatibility is hit-and-miss. A model that works perfectly for one person might not work at all for another person (case in point: my stupid Sapphire Radeon 6850). Your best shot is to find someone who used the exact same motherboard as yours for their Hackintosh, and then use whatever graphics card that guy used.

Dual channel just means you need to use matched sticks in pairs on the board. However, this board will take up to 4 sticks of ram for a max of 32 GB of memory. Personally, I'm all in favor of more RAM, so I say go for 16.

Ok thank you guys for the advice :). Also should I look for someone with my exact motherboard or someone with the same chipset as my motherboard?

You need to find someone with the exact same motherboard. When it comes to graphics card compatibility, chipset barely matters at all. It's all about specific motherboard models.
