I am planning to build a new Hackintosh, i have had some experience with OSX86 is the past and have decided that instead of getting a high end iMac or Low end Mac Pro i will build an i7 Hackintosh. There is sooo much information round about what boards work and don't work natively with OSX Lion.
I would like if possible some build advice for a high end Hackintosh which "Just Works" with as minimal hacked kexts as possible, Overclockers.co.uk do a 4.0GHZ over clocked bundle with GA X58-USB3 as its main board. Will this work out of the box? I also like the look of the Radeon 6950 GPU, will this work out of the box or will i have to install old or hacked kexts?
These parts are not set in stone, if there are better and more compatible boards/GPU's i can use in the same set of performance range i would be interested in knowing about them.
Thanks!
