Administrator passwords and login changed in Lion?

Did the Lion install on both machines, and was a breeze. No lockups, etc and everything works, except the sound. Went to run Multibeast again and am asked for Administrator login and password, but when entered, it didn't work. I didn't change anything with regards to passwords,etc, yet both machines do this. Searched, but how do we do this without a proper bootdisk?

Did you install Lion using an Admin account, and are now running MB using another account?

I only had the one account
Did I miss something in the install?

Please post if you find a work-around / solution.

I have the same issue,. installed Lion and now it won't accept my password (so can't do software update / use multibeast, etc)
