Hey guys, how is it going?
First-timer here. Glad to say after a week saga, from knowing this was even possible to joining the community, I finally got my Hackintosh fully working.
The thing is I can't create folders or copy and paste files on other drives.
After some research, I tried all of the privilege-related actions but had no success:
As in "cainadealmeida" is my user account and, even though its privileges are set to "Read & Write" (and the lock icon is open), I can't change a thing. Can't click any option, can't add users or edit privileges.
Here are some things I have already tried:
- Create another administrator user, log in and change permissions;
- Try it on an internal HDD file backup drive (same thing happens);
Would it be related to the fact that these drives were created on Windows?
Is it some low-level configuration or is it some silly thing I'm just not seeing as an iNewbie?
I'd love to hear from you. Thanks.
