Adding/Using HiDPI custom resolutions

@RehabMan Hello, thank you for this awesome thread. This is the first time that I asked someone about hackintosh. I've spent a few hours I still can't figure it out.
I have LG L2000CN (20inch 4:3 monitor). I've uploaded IO info, my directory location, file and its content.
And still nothing in Display settings (although shows HiDPI) and RDM (uploaded screenshot).

Is there something what I am missing?

Native resolution of that monitor is 1600x1200.

I want to have 1024×768 or 1280×960 (both HiDPI) just because everything would look BIGGER (text and etc). My parents have problems with their eyes

I don't know why you added a 3840x2160 resolution to your plist...
For the two resolutions you mention, as per post #1, you should have:
- resolution for native resolution of your display (may be optional)
- 1024x768 and double 2048x1536
- 1280x960 and double 2560x1920

Oh, I just tried to check that maybe it only works on 16:9 or smth.
Just in case, I just edit everything like you said but it still not working

Just did it once again. Still not working.
Well my observations: it reads correctly file (plist), because in SysPrefs -> Display it shows my ccreated LG name but resolutions doesn't shows up correct neither in SysPrefs, nor in RDM

You didn't provide any files or info showing what you're doing...

Been busy recently. I'm planning completely reinstalling my hackintosh and then I will try everything from the beginning. I will let you know if I managed to make it work.

I got some problem when i use the HiDPI resolution.
If the machine wake from sleep, screen will be garbled like the image.

And sometimes use trackpad to drag item will crash and reboot.
Is there any solution?
My OS version is 10.12.3.
