I use multibeast with iBoot (isn't that automatically the case with multibeast?) right now. I don't boot with the iBoot CD anymore.
I have the Bootloader Chameleon ATI Experimental activated.
Already tried with EasyBeast Installation.

Easy beast is what is going to allow you to boot without iboot, so your booting with out iboot and still only showing 4 gigs

The weird thing is, i got it working with only the EasyBeast-Installation. No options else.
Then i did some modifications in the command-prompt, but i don't remember what i did to make it work. After a reinstallation of the ComboUpdate 10.6.6 all changes were gone.
I tried to repeat the changes but no success anymore.
I think i got it working with EFI32, but am not shure.
Any ideas what has to be done?
I think i modified the com.apple.Boot.plist and set the nvram-command as described before....

Well iboot only boots showing 4gigs, so if you ran multi beast and booted without iboot and you now show 8gigs your all set

If i boot without iboot (only EasyBeast activated as option), it also shows only 4GB RAM. I tried that several times.

First of all I would like to thank the people who makes this possible.

I am experiencing exactly the same thing. Just finished my first build and followed the excellent iboot+multibeast method.

Everything everything works besides this little issue. For now 4 gb is plenty for me but 8 would be nice.

@Surfacer: I wonder if the Kingston ram is to blame. I use this ram: KHX1600C9AD3B1K2/4G.
Are you using the same?

Imho you need to boot with -force64 it works for me atleast

Is that an option for iBoot?
Where do i have to put it, that it boots with this option every time automatically?

its a boot option for chamelion that is part of iBoot from what i understand.

Setting it up to automatically set you must set /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.boot.plist and add it as a kernel flag. i have not done this yet so i cannot really comment on that.
