I've been reading thru the forum for the audio driver of P8P67 Deluxe and been trying for many drivers such as voodoo 2.xx, but I jut got the junky sound. The last one I tried was Realtek > ACL8xx, then after rebooting, my system was waiting forever. I'm quite tired of this audio driver and keep reinstalling the SL.

Could you guys help me out of here, I have attached the boot screen which I use option -x -v PciRoot=1 to see where the system was waiting, is this solvable without reinstalling the SL again?

and which audio driver I should use for P8P67 Deluxe... Gossh... please assist

I had a mostly running system until I started trying to make my built-in optical outputs work by installing the realtek kexts and now my system gets to Chimera and then wont boot... it shows a black screen with a white bar at the top. Did you ever find a solution for this? I think it has to do with the fact that I had VooDoo installed when I loaded the Realtek kexts. Thanks!
