Motherboard
Acer Predator PH517-51-Clover
CPU
i7-8750H/HM370
Graphics
GTX 1070, 3840x2160
Mobile Phone
  1. iOS
CPU: i7-8750H
Chipset: HM370
Graphics: GTX 1070 (UHD 630 is factory disabled)
BIOS: InsydeH2O v1.16
Storage: 2xSSD PCIe + 1xHDD SATA

A bootable USB flash drive is made using the BDU. With default config.plist I get this error:
OsxAptioFixDrv: AllocateRelocBlock(): can not allocate relocation block (0x16687 pages below 0x100000000)

With fix from https://nickwoodhams.com/x99-hackintosh-osxaptiofixdrv-allocaterelocblock-error-update/ (OsxAptioFix2Drv-free2000.efi) Clover stuck on plus signs. Tried default config.plist and https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-Clover-Laptop-Config/blob/master/config_HD615_620_630_640_650.plist. On my desktop (Z390, i5-9600K) installer loaded successfully.

Refer to the guide:

Solved! Just added RAM fields to SMBIOS in Clover config.
could i actually get your updated clover? I have the same laptop and stuck at the same problem.

Edit: Nevermind, got it! Thanks for the idea though.

How are you doing with your laptop so far?? I have gotten pretty far, so if you need help just ask. I have a very awesome guy helping me with the ALC299 audio codec. He is adding it to the Apple and kext for the future. So far the speakers and headphone jack are working

And also are you having issues with your laptop keyboard? Mine won't work unless I put th laptop to sleep then wake it, then it works. Just using the latest voodoops2controller.kext

macOS works, but with some glitches. Awesome! Can you provide your kext for ALC299?

Yes, same issue. I haven't found a solution yet. G-Sync also doesn't work.

Yes, same issue. I haven't found a solution yet. G-Sync also doesn't work.
Here is the modified AppleALC kext, use layout 21 on your config.plist.

What glitches are you having? I have full Qe/Cl with the Nvidia drivers for High Sierra. I don't seem to have any glitches.

Yeah with the Nvidia drivers, the laptops display isn't seen as a G-sync display for me either :/. I plugged my actual G-Sync monitor into the laptop and the Nvidia settings actually did see that as a Gsync display. But enabling Gsync caused some weird backlight issues, I could see the pixels refreshing and it was causing like a very small like strobe effect. It's not like I am going to game on Mac anyways.

If I find a keyboard fix I will let you know.

Oh and also, the Alc299 is being added to the master branch of the live AppleAlc kext. So with updates of that kext in the future you should be able to update and still have audio. Just check patches notes and see if it was officially added. It's in the github pull requests right now.

Hey guys!
I have the same laptop as you and it works flawlessly with hackintosh so far. No problems with keyboard or trackpad, but I use an external mouse and keyboard most of the time. Did you manage to get wifi and bluetooth working? I ordered BCM card from ebay, will try to change Killer one that I have now installed.
