Hi Team!
I've been a long time lurker on tonymacx86, and have finally pulled the spare cash to put together a 'Hackintosh' (Sold the motorbike!!!)
I've followed the Jan 2013 buyers guide for the Mac Mini Deluxe, and this is what I've pulled so far.
Processor: Intel Core i5 3570K
Cooler: Corsair Hydro Series H60 SE CPU Cooler
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z77N-WIFI Mini ITX Motherboard
Graphics: EVGA GeForce GTX 660 Ti 2GB
SSD: SanDisk Extreme Solid State Drive 240GB
RAM: Corsair Vengeance CML16GX3M2A1600C10 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3
Power: Corsair TX-650M Modular Power Supply
Case: BitFenix Prodigy Warrior Mini-ITX Case
Native wifi & bluetooth: TP-Link TL-WDN4800 450Mbps Wireless N PCIe Adaptor
USB to place multibeast, ML on whilst I use my Gf's Mac: SanDisk Cruzer Slice 32GB USB Flash Drive
See http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=wish_lists&wlcId=129882&action=wish_lists
Im confident I've done enough research to warrant this a good looking beast.
My only questions are
- Has anyone had any issues with above system?
- I'll be running a few CAD programs now and again, and a little bit of Gaming Civ, Borderlands 2 etc. Do you think its got the grunt?
- Can I use a less powerful Power supply since im using a SSD? 650W sounds like alot.
Thanks in advance!!!
