i have a fully functional 10.6.7 install now. one issue, i ran snow leopard cache cleaner and somehow it messed up my about this mac display. it basically displays the correct amount of ram i have but under the more section/ memory to be exact it says there was an error and will not tell me how many dimms i have installed or anything. i know it's not my pc, or the ram because it detects it fine in windows 7. and also the about this mac shows it correctly. any fixes for my issue at all? :banghead:

i think i found the answer, my system profiler must be corrupt. can someone upload their 10.6.7 SPPlatformReporter.spreporter located in /System/Library/SystemProfiler? i believe that will fix my issues without having to reinstall.

Here is mine...

thanks but that didn't work either. i did some research and found out when your using the experimental ati bootloader it will not display the correct ram you have installed, it's a bootloader bug. hope it gets fixed soon.
