I have a Z97 MX Gaming 5 mobo and a 780Ti
If you are interested, the 9 Series repo is available for Beta testing:

Download/View Raw: [Guide]_HD4600-hdmi_audio_(dsdt_or_ssdt)_v2.pdf.zip
Configure MaciASL/Preferences/Sources/+ with URL:
Code:
https://raw.github.com/toleda/audio_hdmi_9series/master

Apply Patch:
1. AMI-Clean_Compile-9series
2. AMI-HD4600-AMD-Nvidia-A1 (or A2)

Reply with patched dsdt and new IOReg.

Never before have I had such smooth and fast experience of fixing something with my Hackintosh. You are a magician toleda, thank you so much!!

I'm attaching the new DSDT and ioreg file. Please let me know if I can help you in any way. I don't mind testing, debugging or whatever I can do to help finalize this release.

I thought I'd take part in this beta test.

using MaciASL, I added toleda's repo and patched using Clean Compile then A1. Saved as ACPI "DSDT.aml"

I had several warnings, remarks and optimizations however zero "errors" on compile.

Added to bootloader. (I use Clover)

Rebooted and HDMI audio is now active! I thank you good sirs!

With the Audio fix, IGPU fix, and now HDMI Audio, the 9 series builds could reach recommended status quickly. I can't wait to discover what else the Clean Compile patch did for system compatibility/reliability.

I've attached my own patched dsdt and ioreg output.

As a complete newbie who has just managed to get Yosemite up and running without HDMI Audio, could someone take me through this process of making it work slowly please?

Thanks
