8400 GS 256 MB stuck at 1024x768 with no QE/CI

Been Stuck with this problem since yesterday ..
Tried everything i could modifying kexts / graphics enabler = yes
but coudnt get it to work .


does any1 knw how to run this card on lion successfully with proper resolution ?

I got my 8400GS (512) to work on Lion by installing the "NVenabler" package; used multi beast 3.7.3 to install this one. [3.8.0 no longer has nvenabler]

I did not have to edit any plist files, or any other changes, to get it to work.

You have to insert your device ID into NVDANV50Hal.kext
