660 Ti system freezes YouTube

I have an ATI Radeon 5570 works great (hardware acceleration enabled)

I've tried Nvidai GTX 650, GTX 760, GTX 770 all have the same problem.

I just bought the GTX 780, but I am afraid I'll get a pink screen again.

Weird how the cheapest 3 year old graphic card works great, almost makes me want to return the expensive/new stuff.

Any suggestions?

Im Having this same exact problem with my GTX 650ti.

That particular problem is fixed by disabling hardware acceleration from flash videos. Do this from the flash player plugin preferences accessed from any loaded flash-content and left clicking to get in to the preferences menu.

I had this issue on my desktop with asus 660ti... changed the system profile to something different... maybe macbook air and it stopped going pink


edit: its a mac mini! mine works fine now

Disabling hardware acceleration in Adobe Flash Player did the trick instantly for me as well. Thank goodness! I wasn't looking forward to removing my Nvidia GT 640 to correct the problem. I am hoping this will also correct a problem I have been having with my webcam by which the Flash Player pop-up window would appear but then I wasn't able to make any selections within the text box. I have to close the application that is trying to use the webcam and try again! Good luck!
