Hi!

I'm going to use my computer for video games, homework, light CAD and light photo/video editing.

I'm really only going to put my OSs (Win 10 64 bit. + OS X Yosemite) on the SSD as everything else I can't really bothered nor do I need it.

I'm going to have a 4TB SSHD from Seagate ( ~145MB/s)

60GB: http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00EENQ0U8/?tag=tonymacx86-21

120GB: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00P736UEU/?tag=tonymacx86-21

250GB: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00P736UEU/?tag=tonymacx86-21

So i don't know which capacity I need.

Suggest a 120 for OS X and a 250 for Windows. Depending on your tolerance for frustration and willingness to endure the hassle of OS X and Win10 on the same drive, especially if installing both UEFI with Clover boot loader, suggest a minimum 500GB drive for both on same drive.

why is installing two OS's on one drive difficult?

Also I thought of this:

either 60GB SSD (win 10) + a 250GB SSD (OSX)

or two 120GB SSDs (one for each OS)

Stuff I will put on the drives:

Windows 10: Steam, Origin, Teamspeak, Fraps, Chrome, and Win 10 itself.

OSX Yosemite: Pages etc. , iTunes (music), steam, and OSX

It is not installing so much as maintaining. If installing Legacy mode and using Chimera as boot loader it is actually fairly easy - see the sticky guide in MultiBooting forum. OS X works same all versions, as does Windows.

If you are going 60GB and 250GB, put OS X on the 60 and Win10 on the 250 - win10 is about 36GB for a fresh install without any additional software.
Better to get a 120 for OS X and a 250 for Win10, but a 120 for Win10 will do if most files/documents/pics/videos, etc. are stored off line or on a different HDD.

Erm:

250GB for OS X partition: (there will be overall more stuff on the OS X side).

120GB for Win 10 partition:I'm just using the apps above

That will work. Platter HDD for file storage strongly recommended.

Thank you this has been so helpful.
