So my install was successful, running ML on a GA-7ZZN-WIFI with core i5 and a GTX 650 Ti Boost.

However, I have noticed that whenever there is nothing on my machine producing audio (i.e. so nothing going out on the audio output) - no system sounds, no music, nothing - for maybe thirty seconds or a minute (haven't timed it) I will start getting a buzzing on the line.

Sounds like it's your basic 60 Hz mains hum, but it only kicks in after a while like I said. So maybe the machine is actively putting out a zero signal but then when there's no output for a while it stops and the interference is heard on the line?

Anybody experienced this? Is this an issue with the audio driver? It's really annoying.

Are you using external sound amplifier?
