[SOLVED] 5770 displayport not workimg after sleep

I suspect this is Apple's fault, but I wanted to get a thread going.

After sleep, the displayport port on my 5770 (in this case MSI R5770) stops working. Plugging in the DVI cable simultaneously lets the displayport port work.

At first I thought it was because I was using an edited kext (since my card doesn't have the reference port layout), but using the stock kext with the Vervet framebuffer (instead of my edits w/ Eulemur) preserves the problem: displayport stops working after sleep/wake.

Any thoughts?

After much editing of framebuffers, I made it to the point where I could determine that the problem was exclusively one of displayport not working.

I found a thread on netkas' forum which discussed this in context of flags in the kext plist; rather than edit them, I opted to splice my edits into the Hoolock framebuffer, which is the Apple 5770 native framebuffer. This solved the problem.

I have now confirmed all ports on the MSI R5770 working with 10.8 and my edited kext, and any two port combinations.

This kext should be used with the Hoolock framebuffer.
