550Ti or 560 or 560Ti - EVGA, Zotac, MSI or Gigabyte + OC

Hi All,

Tomorrow is the big day that i go pick up all parts to build my first CustoMac. Have decided on 550 Ti or 560 or 560 Ti for sure to give Adobe Premiere a boost. 560's will likely give a performance boost over the 550 but which one would be better in terms of:
- less modifications or tweaks to make it work in Lion
- less headaches and glitches when all working (kernel panics, freezes etc)
- better performance in Video Edit/3D based on experience??

Also, I can get either EVGA, Zotac, MSI or Gigabyte. Any one that is better than others based on above? Any particular model for above as they have 2-3 different ones.

Will be going in a i7 2600k CPU w/ 16GB, Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3; basically from Tony's CustoMac lists. Can anyone also point me to a thread on how I should correctly configure Overclocking how to with this CPU please?

Did you manage to get the EVGA 560Ti 1GB GPU without too many issues?

I am after an Adobe CS 5.5 compatible card for Cuda video acceleration.

Following this with interest as well, since I've kinda earmarked the 2gb 560ti as the card for my graphic design build.

EVGA GTX 560ti owner here, works great, not a single issue.
just had to edit one line in a .kext
google "fermi lion" and you'll find instructions

hmm would this work for the 448 cores 560ti as well?
