Hello

Trying to set boot options via MultiBeast 5.5.3 always result in "The installation failed" for me.

There is no boot.plist in this system's /Extra folder. MultiBeast seems unable to create it.

I started hackintoshing with 10.8.3 and corresponding version of MultiBeast, and this part of MultiBeast has never worked for me.

It does create smbios.plist with no problems into the same /Extra folder.

Closed, not relevant.

MultiBeast Customization -> Boot Options has always required a pre-existing Boot.plist. From the MultiBeast Features document:

Contains scripts to edit /Extra/org.chameleon.Boot.plist files to enable/disable special bootloader features at startup.

What is the intended / preferred way of creating the file in the first place?

I do my multibeasting by selecting the options one by one. There was something in the two "do it all" choices that I found problematic. That is, if one or both of those do create it. I can't remember seeing that happening.

Anyway, the first time I ran into this I saw an example boot.plist somewhere, took that and edited it by hand.
