Hi, how do I get 4k resolution with a RX 570 8GB on Big Sur? I can only chose 1600*900, 1080p or 720p.

I have tried to update OC and kexts to the latest versions.

CPU = i7-8700.
Motherboard = Gigabyte.
I use a DP cable.

I had 4k when I first hooked up my new monitor (LS32A70). But after a reboot I only had 1080p.

Any help would be appreciated!

You shouldn't need to do anything extra. Even on my RX 560, 4K is available as an option by default.

Sorry for the headline, it's a 570 not 580.

Could it be the system identifier? I use Mac Pro (2019).

Try iMac19,1, see if that helps.

It shouldn't make a difference... Please post your EFI.

It works when I changed the SMBIOS to iMac19,1. SOLVED!
