I Just got a new Philips 4 screen wich I´m trying to connect to My MSI gaming 3 Z97 Yosemite Hack.
I have several issues.
The worst is that I can´t select 4k resolution in preferences.
I enabled displayport 1.2 and can only select 2560 x 1440 60Hz
The onboard graphics are
Intel HD Graphics 4600
I thought it is capable of 4k 60hz.
It doesn´t even let me choose 4k 30hz
Should I try to change System definitions?
I should be on (default) Mac Pro 3,1
Also when I boot with the Monitor connected I shows an error and won´t boot at all.
So I have to connect the screen later.
Do I have to get a graphics card?
Play with system definitions?
Any help or ideas are greatly appreciated.
