Hello,
I am getting a bit tired of my Macbook Pro not being able to edit and color grade 4K content well so I am thinking of getting a budget a hackingtosh system.
My budget is really low ($5-700) after having already spent a lot money on a macbook pro.
I found a couple of second hand computers in my budget range.
Here are their specs:
i7 4770 3.4Ghz or Core i5 3570K 3.4Ghz
16GB DDR3
GTX 1050 TI 4GB DDR5 or GTX 970 4GB DDR5
Samsung SSD 850 Pro or Samsung 840 Pro SSD
Motherboards: Asus P8Z77 or similar
Will this make for a good hackintosh system that will allow me to color 4K footage in DaVinci at a reasonable speed?
I should mention that I work off a 4K monitor using Displayport 1.2
