4770k or 4771 for stability

I am going to build my first hackintosh and debating between 4770k or 4771 processor. I just did a quick look thru the apple product line and didn't see them using any 4770k processors in any model. I think the fastest Imac has an i7 4771.

If I don't plan to overclock right now, do you think the 4771 would be better a better choice from a stability standpoint?

Go for the K edition. It works with OS X and will allows for overclocking in the future.

Apple doesn't allow/intend to allow overclocking so it makes sense why no 4770k's exist in any Mac. But since they're all the same chip basically, the support is still there.
