Hi
1st time builder,, 90% successful, only issue is
when I plug in 2 GPU --- EVCA GT 980ti 6G

video will randomly lag (glitch) when it play back in FCPX .. (only 1 layer video playback)

works fine with Davinci, no lag.
I aware that Nvidea is not perfect match with FCPX. (AMD better)

any tips to fine tune this system in order to tame down fcpx issue ?

thanks in advance,,

You are using an old version of OS X, and I suspect an old version of FCPX. No idea what nVidia driver version you have, but that would be my first thought to check. I'd also upgrade to 10.11.x and upgrade FCPX afterwards. The later versions are a lot better and massively faster.

If FCPX is your thing then a cheap pair of AMD 280X boards will be simpler all round, however you state you know that, so you'll have to preserve with the nVidia cards. They do work but most people seem to be using later versions of the software.
