Ready for my first mod and have decided to mod a NeXT cube. I have already mounted the motherboard to the side of the case (the picture shows and old board mounted just for fit) and I am playing with drive trays.Still unsure what i will do with the PSU and for the back cover. Stay tuned...

Dude, I hope your build will do that cube justice considering you stripped out one the most collectable computers ever made. The last NeXT cube I saw on eBay that was non working went for almost a 1000 bucks. I'm not trying to diss you but man..... that's pretty ballsy to strip one of those and make a hack out of. If you do the cube do some research and see if you are able to find the NeXT OS. and run it in an emulator. Good Luck

I have a working cube and pizza box. This is a shell I have had laying around for about 15 years.

Sweet case!

holy ****

please take 100 photos....minimum.

definitely possible. ive got openstep (multiplatform version of nextstep, when they moved to focus on the os than the hardware) running on vmware.
internet and sound work too

Dang, I'm jealous. Where'd you score that? Hope your mod is a success! Post pics!!!
