2500k Stock Cooling overclocking

I thought about 5.0Ghz was as high as this CPU got to,

About 4.7 was where I was hoping to get to.

As you've guessed over-clocking is completely new to me.
Would i be able to reach about 4.5 say with the fans suggested?

Most likely not the one I suggested, but that was to meet your budget.
I'd have a look at something with 4-6 heatpipes at least for that kind of speed.
You might want to read up a bit more before you go ahead though, as although basic overclocking is easy, once you're getting to the edge of what your CPU can do... it's getting pretty technical.

I'm definitely doing my research first.

Thanks for your help anyway, I'll continue to look into it and buy the right sort of cooling when it comes to it.
