Ok, so I'm going nuts.
I've read thread after thread on here and no matter what I do I can't seem to get any over clock to stick.

Starting from scratch with stock BIOS defaults and just bumping the CPU multiplier up to 42x seems to do nothing according to GeekBench and SMC Monitor, am I right?

I just don't understand.
Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.
Thanks!

What does "P&C States" under [SMC Monitor -> File] say?

FWIW, I'm having some OC troubles as well...

It's all foreign to me.

This may be wrong now again as I'm back to "default settings" and trying again.
I know my over clock wasn't doing anything though, as all of my performance scores are basically identical now that I'm back on fully stock BIOS settings.

Odd.
I wonder why my BIOS tweaks to OverClock aren't taking!?

I actually have the same problem with my geekbench scores in osx not reflecting my overclock. My "P&C States" go up to 4700, but I don't know if the os is taking advantage of their availability.

This probably requires more research...
