2011 Socket Motherboard With Thunderbolt

Is there a motherboard that is a 2011 that has thunderbolt compatibility or is compatible with a thunderbolt pcie card that someone has used?

I've seen online that people have gotten the asus rampage v extreme to work with a pcie thunderbolt card but I am unaware if anyone has gotten it to work on the thunderbolt side

There are now TH.Bolt 2 PCI-E add in cards that should work with X99 2011-3 motherboards.
Search with the terms: X99 and thunderbolt and read about the success or failures
people have had.
